This is a terrible company to use. They have extra fees that they charge to your account with out letting you know. This company took **** from my business account and refuse to refund it. The company does not have a number to reach them, they say they will call you but never call. They are soo inconsistent! After speaking with ******** and ***** from this company, they were no help at all. They will rob you for your money. DO NOT SIGN UP! It says Care.com, but should say Dontcare.com!

I paid for the background check and membership, almost $50, then I applied to several jobs, but for over a month now, it says "Application pending approval." I sent them several emails and screen shots, and received several responses, none that helped. The last response was "We are looking into it, thank you for your patience." So, I basically have no way of contacting employers. This is a scam/ripoff. I have put my account of pause, and it says I will not be charged any further fees, fingers crossed.

Canceled my account and they continued charging me. Would not recommend using them unless you like to have your money stolen.

I signed up for Care.com in 2017. When I moved later that year, my address would not update, so I couldn't get my profile on there accurately. A couple years later, they charged my account $80 for background checks and I still couldn't update any info. It is now 2023, and they have been charging my account every year, with no option to cancel. There is no customer service to talk to and no way to cancel. This is not a legitimate company!

Care.com VERY DECEPTIVE needs to be Investigated. HORRIBLE Hang up and never visit the site. they are pulling all your private your info as soon as you log in by set investigative algorithms. This ** should be put out of business! OWNED BY AIC out of *****. A **nglomerate that make sure NO ONE EVER ANSWERS A PHONE! I would give zero stars if I could. I wasn't aware of a quarterly membership I was paying. So far already paid over $400. I did not even login for a whole year. So obviously I wasn't using any of thier services. When I try reaching their leadership explaining my case, they jsut sent me an email from the 'care supervisor' saying they cannot help me. They never gave me a number I can call and talk to some representative. This is a money sucking company. stay away from them!

HORRIBLE COMPANY. My job post, which was very detailed and specific, was rejected twice because it didn't conform to some "standard"no mention as to what 'standard' I'd violated, just a form email. "Help Desk" person didn't even participate in our "live chat" (bogus "person," obviously.) They make it impossible to speak directly. with them. Also, canceling your Premium Membership is very difficult. They only canceled mine after I contacted my credit card *** as they continued top charge me. AVOID!

Care.com's membership subscription is predatory. They create the appearance that you need to enroll in premium membership to post and communicate with care providers. This is not the case. When I realized this without actually using the membership, I cancelled within 6 hours of "subscribing." Too late - they would not refund my initial payment.
