As a care giver, the customer service is terrible! They took my money just fine. Then one day I was unable to sign in and there is absolutely no one to help. I get automated messages as a response to my requests for help on FB messenger. I can't even get the send button to work on the website. It's really too bad, because I really enjoy the families I work with. And I liked that I was able to have a safe way to link up with families and show them my back ground check.
This company is a complete fraud!!! Don't ever in your life use their services!!! I booked a nanny for an important date she never showed so I cancelled my premium membership and have the email proof. I reach out to customer support because I kept being charged for 3 months!!! They told me there was nothing to do about it and that they escalated to a supervisor and I needed to wait until they reached out they couldn't even refund me for the months that legally they should have never charged me for!!! You have to have a premium membership to contact them through chat or by email. I recently moved but the site won't let me update my address and I can't contact anyone because I do not have a premium membership. If you call their ***** number it's a recording telling you to read the help articles on their website. This is probably the worst customer service I have ever come across.
I have been trying for months to terminate my services yet they continue to bill me. They are impossible to reach by phone or email. Ironically I have to upgrade my service to be able to speak to someone live. It is so annoying. I am going to see if I can pursue legal action.
Care.com will not listen to our work out any arrangements to resolve a clear over charge issue. If I could give them a 0 star I would.Buyer Beware. They gladly take your membership money, which has to be paid upfront, and then do not stand behind what they market. The rates shown are outdated and they do not update them so you think you can get housecleaning for between $15 - $25/hour but when you talk to the applicant directly, they have a minimum of $50-60. I signed up with care.com to look for a caregiver for my mom when I went to ****** this past March. I was able to find someone to watch her for 3 days, but she never showed up, and she wouldnt answer her phone. Dissapointed I lost faith in care.com and cancelled my account. I decided to let it go and be out only $80. But not realizing until yesterday that they were still charging my card for the last 3 months. The process of applying was simple enough at the start; however, there were several points at which the site would reload, and my application started to look more like a babysitter application than the tutor application I had been filling out. Yet another unhappy customer. This company makes it nearly impossible to get in touch with them. If you forget your password, good luck! You can't call, use chat, or email. ALL modes of communication are disabled. If you luckily do manage to track down or reset your password, the chat is full of canned responses and "this is all I can do for you." Do not recommend getting embroiled with this company. Steer very clear.
