ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE!! I joined ********************** as a caregiver last year and purchased the one year membership with background check. I have not used the membership in about a year and suddenly was charged for a renewed subscription without any invoice emailed to me. I tried to log in to my account to investigate this and my password was incorrect. We tried booking a babysitter for an out of town wedding. We booked a babysitter a month before the wedding (so well in advance) and the day before the wedding, the babysitter cancelled. After waiting a couple hours for Care.com to find an alternative sitter, to no avail, we re-posted the job. We found another sitter within a couple of hours, but that sitter cancelled the following day (the day of the wedding). If care.com actually cares, then why is it nearly impossible to contact customer service without upgrading and paying additional fees? I am the Director of Nursing for a home care agency and know that without a doubt care.com is allowing (as of 3.28.23) a platform for a caregiver charged and arrested for grand larceny. I attempted to cancel my 3-month subscription online before the cancellation date. The web site displayed a confirmation that my request was successful. I believed it, but I was renewed for another 3 months. When I opened an online chat to request the account be closed and a refund for the last charge, the agent said she couldn't issue a refund because I didn't have email confirmation of the cancellation. Unfortunately, I was the target of a defamatory and false review. I have reached out to care.com several times to get the review down, and even offered to provide screenshots proving the review was false and NOTHING! I even tried to get my account taken down since I figured they would side with the person that left the review (despite it being false) and they wont do it until the next billing cycle. I started to use Care.com 6 years ago. Barely I got only 3 jobs on short terms periods...where parent always wanted to maintain our fee in comfortable ways to their ways but not our budgets especially where you are a premium nanny with over 20 years of experience. Presently I paid for premium subscription only $8.99...with automatically monthly fee and renevenuing criminal&driving record every 6 months In this subscription. Absolutely ****************** I called the number listed in this Better Business Bureau account located in ***. I was sent overseas to a phone room and was constantly given the run around. They couldnt help me nor would they connect me to anyone in *****************. I think this company is a total scam. Please Beware try to contact before purchasing with care.com *****

We found a babysitter through care.com and we were charged through care.com at the time of booking. The charges included the 17$ per hour plus an additional 25$ in extra fees. After payment confirmation our sitter never received funds and her bank found that they were charging her account. She attempted to reach out to try and receive funds and was unable to find anyone to speak with even though she has a premium membership. I am being charged monthly for an account that I have closed and have proof that I closed it on June 18, 2022. I cannot login to speak or talk with a representative because my account is CLOSED but they keep charging me. I will be taking it up with lawyers but this is ridiculous that we cannot talk with someone on the phone to dispute this issue!!!! Worst customer service ever.
