They recharge your membership automatically. I saw a pending charge and requested they cancel it because I clearly never used the service but they refused. They made it very difficult to cancel and will not actually speak to customers.

Care.com is horrible. I signed up for what appeared to say $12.95 a month and you can cancel anytime. When I saw they charged my card for a year of this monthly cost I saw in parenthesis after the $12.95 a month it was $155.40 a year. It is misleading making you think it's $12.95 a month and you can cancel anytime when they are going to charge you for the whole year. I am very unhappy with care.com currently. I had used them in the past and found it to be an excellent way to pick up extra jobs. I took a break and came back. I paid the screening fee and received confirmation from my credit card company that a payment was made. However, when reopening my account I found the message prompting me I could not access my account without paying a screening fee (the one I just paid). I have been billed 3 times AFTER I stopped auto-renewal. I have tried to talk to a customer service rep numerous times but the phone service discontinues the call. Every time I go on the website and push STOP AUTO-RENEWAL, I get an Error saying that the page can not be found. This is most definitely a SCAM. I have found only one candidate and have paid $500 so far with no end in sight. I have written emails to them as well.

It is hard enough to keep track of everyday parenting. I am very disappointed in the offer for a month payment yet is small writing it notes a monthly subscription with no refund policy. Way to go care.com to really care about parents needs!

Horrible I tried looking into care giver. When I looked into it answered some questions then they debited my acct for premium subscription. Called bank they trying to solve this. Called their customer service to no avail. I would hate to have one of their caretakers in my home that's if they even exist.

DO NOT USE. Nowhere when I entered my credit card info did it say they would continue to bill. I authorized a one time payment. They have now taken another $194 from me! Photos couldnt upload. I am ok with the original purchase I agreed to (even though it was a complete waste), but everything after is illegal!

Care.com *** with an ****** ***** address and CCI*CARE.COM in ************* share the same phone number, ************. They may also use similar names, different locations to hide their identity, I had an unauthorized charge from CCI*CARE.COM on my credit card that was flagged by the credit card company. They charged me almost twice what I agreed to, refuse a refund after having it only 5-6 hours and getting messages from people who were not interested in the pay I offered or hours available. I feel like I literally burned money and that seems to be their business model. I just canceled the card linked to the account to ensure they cant keep billing me.
