Absolutely terrible platform and almost a downright scam. When we signed up for the annual subscription, they default to checking the box for unlimited background checks so we were charged $280 for that. Their help center states they offer no refunds even though we were just charged two days ago and never used background checks. There is no support phone number, nor live chat nor email so there is no way to actually communicate with them. I absolutely do not recommend this company. Very bad experience, with being blocked for no apparent reason..and absolutely horrendous customer service.
I purchased a premium account for one quarter and did not find a single caregiver during that time. Everyone I contacted was unavailable which makes me question the legitimacy of the website. After purchasing the premium account I downgraded because I only wanted to try out the service for a few months. Poorly functioning Uploading a photo from ******** didn't work. Poorly functioning website.Wanted tutoring entries and it wanted me to buy another subscription. Not good in my experience.
Another international fraud, based In *****, unauthorized charge of $38.95 appeared on my CC account, without confirmation, cancellation link is hidden and takes time to locate it, cancelled subscription, originally was offered one time discount of $27.95 , but never committed to continuing it. This company is a winner, one star is a joke , instead of star rating BBB should use p*** emoji.
Beware using Care.com - their policy is to auto renew no matter what option you select. If you select the 1-month option because you only want 1-month of service cancel it immediately after opening. They state their policy of auto renewing as a service to you - "If youre wondering why Care.com charged you for another month, thats because our subscriptions automatically renew. Complete SCAM. Subscribed for a month and was completely disallowed from being able to log in to my account 2 days later. They claim you can contact customer service through your account if you log in, but completely prevent you from being able to log in to begin with. BEWARE!!!!!! Total scam site Total scam site. Took my money for upgrade and then has blocked me from signing in. Would highly recommend you stay away. I signed up for a monthly subscription and was charged a full year. They will not refund the amount. The number of qualified candidates for babysitting was slim at best.
