I am stuck in an endless loop of not being able to log in & then being asked for payment for a background check I don't want, not because I have anything to hide, but because I just want to cancel my membership. I will not pay for a background check just so I can log in to cancel it. Care.com really seems like a scam to me st this point. So I have been using Care.com since I opened in 2007. They have changed to a new platform where they give you leads and you contact them through care.com then they will give them your information then the customer is suppose to call you back. Well the customer never calls you back and then they charge you for every lead some are like $14 dollars and others or as much as $50 for the lead. So they can charge you up to $300 a every 14 days. Care.com switched up platforms with no notice and has been taking $27 from my account for months. I have applied to several jobs and not one went through. Theft at its finest.

I signed up on the basic plan for care.com and was charged for the premium plan. My cc was charged more than $100 for a plan i didn't want. Requested cancellation within 8 hours and nothing was done. Communication is only done thru a chat room. I will not recommend this company to anyone.

I signed up for a premium membership in Dec 2021, used the site for a couple of weeks and ended up finding a nanny elsewhere. A year later I see a charge for another year subscription and canceled having completely forgotten about the membership for a year. I tried using the online chat to request a refund, they said I wasn't eligible whether or not it was used. I hired an old man from care.com to sit with my elderly father. He was supposedly a Christian *** but it turns out he was nothing but a thief and a pathological liar named *************************. This happened in ********* ** but he comes from ************** *******. When I discovered he drugged my father and stole cash, narcotics and my grandmother's rings, I stopped payment on his check and filed a police report. He then threatened me via certified mail. Do not under any circumstances, use this company!

I cancelled my Care.com subscription on 12/8/22. I am still getting charged monthly by care.com. I understand that they do not offer refunds, but I had already downgraded my subscription and they are still charging me. It is impossible to talk to a representative from Care.com. I would be very cautious when signing up for their services. While I did find one dog ****** through care.com and used her one time, care.com bills your credit card without sending an advisement email. They were paid almost $80.00 over two months because they snuck the second charge in on me. Customer service would not refund the second month's charge even though I contacted them the day that charge was made.

CARE.com is a sham COMPANY. I opened my account on January 5, 2023. I paid to have a premium account and posted two jobs looking for a caregiver for my kids and also a house cleaner. On January 6, MY ACCOUNT WAS CLOSED. Why? I do not know why because Care.com says they have the right to close anyones account WITHOUT LETTING THEM KNOW.
