**************** and IT glitches are constant and terrible. I have spent HOURS, wasted trying to fill out online help forms in the area of chat or email only for it to say error, try again later or no button present to send message. Ugh.I had a job description listed and chose not to mark college degree required.When I posted the ad it says, college degree required. I tried to contact customer service for 2 weeks on and off. This is a horrible, lying company that will not hold itself accountable for the service they are promising. Save yourself time and money and look somewhere else.

Care.com is absolutely horrendous and a nightmare to attempt to reach their customer service. I receive emails daily about new jobs and postings but thought I deleted my account since a year ago. I am unable to access my account no matter what I try when logging in, it is the same error. Yesterday I realized they automatically charged my card for background and screening when I had never previously authorized it and specifically remember doing it as a one time charge a year ago. Super scammy! After paying for a background check and using my account for about a week they randomly deleted my account with no reason. Its almost impossible to get ahold of anyone, I ended up finally talking to someone with care.com through ********* Do not use them! Save yourself the time, money, and headache.

I have been with Care.com for several years as a caregiver. My account was suddenly closed down without notice and I no longer have access to my account or to the website. I had numerous 5-star reviews from clients for my work, and while I realize Care.com is not legally required to notify me of the account closure, I believe it was done under false circumstances. I reached out to care via email since they do not answer their phones. A family hired me from care.com and they ended up being verbally abusive, did not pay me until I kept texting them. The mom texted me horrendous things and she proceeded to verbally attack me via text. I made a report on care and they did NOTHING about it. This site is unsafe for both the nanny and families. Care.com needs to investigated .. I was with care.com for about 5 years have got numerous jobs thru them for elder care ,this year I renewed membership because I pay monthly for services & decided to add on a feature which was outdated/expired . Scam. Allowed me to start and almost complete a post for backup child care for the next morning, then required a subscription to complete the posting. Once I paid for the subscription, the website forced me to start again and informed me for the first time that postings could not be created less than 24 hours in advance. Care.com refused a refund based on the misleading process, despite chatting with a rep and requesting escalated customer service. Never again. Many sites like ours charge a fee in order to be able to offer you the features our site offers. Otherwise we'd just be like any other free classified site with very little to offer.

Horrible dishonest company. I paid for ONE quarterly mem bership and it was worthless. My account was set to auto-renew on August 15, 2022. I canceled my service in July 26, 2022 - on the app the same way I signed up.They took $68.85 from my banking acct on 8/15/22 (I canceled on 7/26/22). They stated because I didn't have an email from them that it was non-refundable.This is FRAUD pure and simple. I received ZERO notice from them that they were processing a payment.
