I paid for a premium account and unlimited background checks. I found background checks dont work as even though 2 people approved them, I never got the results and they expired. A third person couldnt approve the check as the button didnt show up. On top of that, the only way to contact support is via chat, but trying to do so gives a cant create account error. Care .Care.com is a scam.i opened account on the 16 on tje 17 theu charged me $340 and canceled the account. Wont let me log back on and customer care isn't available
care.com is the biggest scam on earth They cheat the government by allowing their customers to deal with cash so they avoid paying tax. Also they have no customer service,no phone numbers or email or chat. If you want to contact them they you have to open up a profile abd pay then in order to only get answers that don't even help you.They don't deserve not even one star. Care.com. is a scam site abd is very cruel abd dangerous also very unsafe. I have had bad experience with them.
Exploitative and allows parents to leave reviews even if you have never met or worked with them. Customer service is non-existent and doesn't have the caregiver's interest in mind.
I haven't used Care.com in years. Just now I received a bizarre spam text coming from the Care.com number asking me to click on a link that was probably a virus. And when I tried to go to Care.com to let Support staff know, I was told I would have to pay $18 for a background check before even accessing my account--or asking for help.This is blackmail. I have great reviews for my job on care.com I work hard and bust my **** cuz I love what I do the only things is now I cant get any work at all I applied to every application on there and no one will even message me back. Its all not actively hiring applications so how exactly can I get a job or anyone for that mater?? and why cant I message anyone. Absolutely awful. Disconcerned. No actual live people in review. Fake accounts. Computer driven responses only. Most unreliable platform I have ever participated in.
When I signed up they charged me 15 dollars to do a background check as a tutor. They automatically charged me an annual background check fee the following year without informing me that they would do so. No email, text, or message on my profile. Their mobile app doesn't work and their website is very confusing and difficult to navigate as a tutor.
I wish I could give this zero stars. I started my account during lockdown, hoping to find odd jobs. I paid for the Carecheck (*****) but opted to stick with a basic membership with no monthly fee. I barely touched by account once starting it due to lack of jobs posted and then forgot about my account entirely.
