Horrible company with no customer service available. They took money out of my bank account after my account with care.com was closed. They do not even repsond to emails. Do not waste your money with this company. There is not a live person to deal with and their online service is non exisitent. I have been trying to get a refund since January. Do not pay or waste your money on this site. If you answer an ad care.com blocks out your number and email. You can only cancel your account online and after that they still take mone... read more

PREDATORY to caregivers. Very misleading and sketchy. Happened to me and numerous friends charging high subscriptions without us realizing. A customer service line is almost impossible to find. When I spoke to a rep, the rep was INCREDIBLY rude and defensive of their no refund policy as if he has handled this situation hundreds of times. He argued and yelled which was the first time anyone in customer service has done that to me. Absolutely predatory and this company routinely takes advantage of caregivers. What kind of repu... read more

We attempted to advertise with them but every person I spoke to had no clue about our account and would send repeated, individual solicitations. They are so disorganized that we couldn't create a partnership even if we tried. As a result we decided not to pursue working with them but they continuously spam our business, does not abide by our requests to remove our contact information from their systems.

I signed up for a basic, free membership in 2020 to look for a housekeeper. Sometime in the last two years they changed my membership to a premium account without ever notifying me. I never got any kind of email saying I would be billed for this service that I didn't sign up for. I noticed a **** for $140 on my credit card this month for an annual subscription. I contacted the company and they said they would offer me a partial refund of $90. Not good enough. I never agreed to pay for any kind of premium membership so I shou... read more

I was charged wrong and told I would get a refund and once they sent me a refund higher than what they originally were supposed to and then took the entire refund back out of my account! Upset because now my account is banned and Ive lost 167$ and cannot get my money back.

Misleading. It lets you sign up for free but you have to pay hefty subscription fees to be able to talk to potential care providers. I paid for a quarterly subscription, thinking it would be useful for finding quality cleaner in line with my budget. However, care.com seems to randomly assign rates to applicants and their actual rates are much higher than you are initially led to believe. Most of the applications will say $18-30/how for cleaning but their actual rates are $100-120/hour. I was willing to pay up to $40 and clea... read more

Accidentally bought the year subscription instead of the monthly subscription. They way the memberships are broken down, I thought I was buying the cheapest membership as a trial.I realized when looking at my bank statement 4 days later and email confirmation, but was refused by Care.com customer service to change to the monthly plan as I intended. They referred to their cancellation policy, but I was not asking for a cancellation, just a correction of the service to monthly membership which I was still more than happy to pay... read more

Very misleading site. I joined in ******** (2016 )and then relocated to *****. I was genuinely looking for a sitter for my children along with someone with the skills to care for my autistic Son and my geriatric, widowed Mother in law recently diagnosed with dementia. I signed up under the military discount which was supposed to be free. After NOT get ANY of my required/requested results, I decided to pay for better results and a background check or two. For 3 months, I got nothing viable, and those I contacted could not con... read more

I inadvertently signed up when looking for care. Now there is a billing dispute and it is absolutely impossible to contact them using the poor options available. Can't get anyone on the phone, no live chat, email function is inoperable. I am willing to pay them but I cannot contact them. Totally inacceptable.
