LegalZoom is the worst company I have ever worked with. I opened a nonprofit with them, and when I PAID them for a service they offered to dissolve nonprofits, they never held up their end of the bargain. I've been calling and trying to get this handled for OVER A YEAR and I still haven't gotten anywhere. I also only recently got a supervisor to agree to a refund and I still haven't received it. I filed with LegalZoom to dissolve an LLC in **********. They did nothing and will not refund their fees. I filed myself, it was easy. I contacted LegalZoom twice to resolve the problem, but they ignore my requests. The last time I contacted them, I said I would post my experience with then online. I will not use their services again.

We chose a package for an LLC to start a business. The package we chose was $249. They added fees to that and it went up to $400+ we made an arrangement to pay 3 payments of $164. 2 weeks later they took $249 and $199 seperate charges from my account.these charges were not authorized. This has caused me to miss a car payment and a cell payment!!

I woke up this AM (10-18-2024) to an un-authorized charge from them for $299, i called them to ask why i was charged and was informed of a subscription i apparently had and that was the yearly charge for the subscription, i never signed up for a subscription, only used the company to ******************** on 2021. I registered my business with legalzoom through online portal. It was a bad choice based on the experience from there on.Their basic service is zero dollars plus state registration fee. They sold me pro service with EIN facility, and gave me fake SSN just so registration could be made. I should have walked ******** without EIN, legalzoom is still charging for pro service, half of which I have paid already.I have been told, I am not going get my paid money back on top of it I have to pay more. Up until now Legal Zoom has been great but they are not at all helpful lately. I contacted Legal Zoom through the chat to issue a refund for the subscription that was charged today. Everything started out great and they were responding back quickly and understood exactly what I wanted. Then all of a sudden the guy responds with what exactly they do and I responded back saying that I understood and he took that as I wanted to keep the subscription. This company is UNETHICAL by charging clients extra fees that were never requested. also, the company does not give you the opportunity to make changes in their website and when you speak to someone which its outsourced they are clue less on what you are saying. be very careful with this company.
