*** off company providing poor quality services. Paid for expedited foreign qualification 2 months not completed, charged me for permits and licences that report that I don't need and refused refund due to their terms. Lawyer consults are measured and info provided is with legalzoom interest guidance not customer specific oriented. They charge for stuff that is free to file yourself online. Would not recommend this service to anyone starting out a bizness.
Refused to give me a refund after also not telling me they would no longer be offering divorce as a service. After $2-3k spent, you would think theyd communicate and treat customers better. Extremely frustrated that Im just out that much money for their lack of communication.
I am writing to file a formal complaint against Legal Zoom for their failure to provide the services I paid for in a timely manner, which resulted in significant harm to my small business. (9/17/2024): Ive been waiting for an update on the *** formation package I bought a month ago. After doing my own research, I found out that the filing had already been approved, and the certificate of formation was released by the Secretary of State on the day I made the purchase. LegalScam should be their name as they charge you for services that because of your lack of experience they tell you you need but you don't. Their process is never spelled for you and it takes an excruciatingly long time. You'll receive a notification one week that a certain process is complete but no idea what it is for or what the next step is or how long that may take. Legal Zoom charged my annual subscription this month (9/8/24) to be my agent for my ***. In July I had went through the state to *************. When I went to end my subscription with Legal Zoom, they did not offer a prorated refund, or a continuation of *** services, should I need them, for the duration of what my annual fee covered, that they charged. Theft of as much as they can and give the buyer NOTHING. Changed me $399 for a registered agent fee in September-24 even though I removed them in January-24, and claimed they cannot refund the withdrawal. Do not do business with them and keep every transcript of every interaction. They are crooked as crooked gets.
Legal Zoom wants to be my agent for a company that's already closed, how illegal is this, an entity that already closed but insist on being the registered agent?Is this a legal stance by a company that deals in legal matters!! Never do business with Legal Zoom ever!
They were opening a business company to me, then I saw that they were working poorly, I cancelled the order, I asked them to return my money, they sent me a check for the amount of 803 dollars but the check had no funds, my bank charged me a fee for that transaction, it seems like I was committing fraud, then I complain again they tell me that they were going to send me another check and it never arrives, I always call, talk blah blah blah and they don't pay me, I feel scammed by them.,,they do bad procedure for busines
