LegalZoom is one of the worst service providers. I started my application process on May 22, 2024, using Legal Zoom to get my limited ********************* started. I had to call multiple times to follow up on the status of my application from May 22, 2024, on and they had to ask me to cancel and restart my application twice by mid-June 2024. I am charged with more than I anticipated, when I called customer service they put me on hold and left me there. the next person that answered did not know the question I had and I had to explain it all over again. I didn't realize it was a subscription and all of the services they offer I can do for much less or do not need. My LLC has been in process now 10 days after it said that it would be finalized. Legal zoom charged us a registered agent fee for years when they were not our registered agent, and in fact we had another registered agent on file. Then when attempting to file for a trademark, they informed us of their policy to submit the application with legal zooms email and phone number, as the trademark office would only confer with a lawyer. I started my LLC with Legal Zoom and paid over 1000 to get my business started. However, after starting my business I realized that there are many hidden fees for Legal Zoom and that everything they say they will do for you also requires extra fees to get them done. They took over 1700 dollars out of my bank account over 3.8 years all while telling me my business was in good standing when it never was. I filled out all of the paperwork they gave me and spoke to one of their representatives who asked me about my business model. Paid legal zoom to help me create my sole proprietorship. After weeks of no activity I decided to research the subject myself and found that I can go down to the county clerk office myself and file it and be done with it. Once I was done and I contacted legal zoom and informed them they no longer have my consent to file anything under my name anymore and that I would like a refund for doing the job I paid them to do. This is the worst service ever! They have an issue with the survey so I couldnt complete my application. Its causing delays to my llc formation. I am scared the name will be taken. I want a refund! Its your problem fix it but don't keep me hanging. I spoke to a rep on 8/15/ 2024 at 7 pm and she said they needed to change the code at the backend for the website to work properly. Please proceed with the refund.

This is one of the most inept companies I have ever worked with. They took our money from two different accounts and after 4 years we still do not have a resolution, in filing the paperwork. They have lost the paperwork 4 times on both accounts. We have spent months on hold trying to speak to a representative to get them to file our documents.
