Warning LegalZoom is not customer focused. They are strictly transactional. In short, I have done business with them since 2019. In general individual transactions are conducted adequately. However, they are so large and Bureaucratic that they have no regard for the customer. Do not use LegalZoom! I purchased an estate planning package of documents from them 5 years ago while my husband was in the hospital. (Don't wait until your husband is in the hospital to do this) I assumed that it was a one-time purchase of a package of documents. Unbeknownst to me my package came with a "free trial" of a subscription service for legal advice. Worst everything, don't use them for anything real estate. They charge you money and you end up doing all the work yourself.Expedited filing, means you have to print documents yourself, go find your own notary and physically mail the document back to 3rd party preparer.All of this, is after you learned it by asking in chat, otherwise you'd never known.

This is probably the worst company you could go with to get your business started. Once they get your money they could careless. DO NOT BELIVE IN THE FAKE 4.5 RATING. Most likely filled with bots they paid for. This company is a scam. For example look on theyre website and try to find theyre cancellation and refund policy. It is impossible. Legalzoom runs a scam when renewing your subscription. They charged for a yearly subscription for 'registered agent' when my settings were set to auto-renew. While I accept that I should have called before the renewal to cancel my auto-renew. I called next day as I saw charged in my credit card. They declined to refund my subscription dues for whole year even though I will not be using their services for the year as registered agent. They are declining to refund for a charge that they will not be rendering services.

We utilized legal zoom to form our corporation. For the steep price of $750.00 I was assured all the formation paperwork would be handled adequately. To my surprise the *** from the *** was never filed. This held the licensing of my business up for over a month. After reaching out to multiple employees of legal zoom I was told the back office has completed the *** Form and would be emailed to me in 2 business days. #THEWORST - DO NOT WASTE your time or money on using Legal zoom. We contracted their top service, and all the maintenance subscriptions to have them file our llc. The entire process was botched, no communication and nobody could answer us directly when we called customer service. You get transferred through the chain of departments where you have to repeat your information multiple times to employees reading a script and speaking in a heavy accent that is hard to understand. My experience has been horrible. I paid to have my LLC expedited, only to have Legal Zoom wait two weeks before submitting new name changes to the state. I was told this by a representative when asking for an update. Now I'm told it will be another two to three weeks before I am able to move forward which halts me in being able to do a few financial things for my new business.
