I paid Legal Zoom hundreds of dollars to set up my LLC and they couldn't even get me an EIN after nearly a year. Any attempt to try to fix this always results in an hour plus on the phone until I eventually have to hang up because I can't wait on the phone any longer. Management is completely inaccessible to get an issue addressed.Stay away.

As far as the agent I spoke with today, he was awesome. As far as my overall feelings on the company, it's extremely poor! They don't do what they say they'll do. They'll enroll you into programs automatically and it's time consuming to cancel. They offer a refund but it never happens. They are extremely sneaky and not trustworthy.

I had to contact customer service daily because they couldn't do the simple task of submitting a form on my behalf for well over a month. I was told it was flagged to fulfillment. Only to have nothing happen. The next day told it was marked urgent. Nothing. Each day I would have to sit on hold while a service rep would verify the exact same information that was verified each time. It's a constant runaround. I regret going through them.

I wanted to form a company, but I wasn't sure if I should form an LLC or a **Corp (one person). When I asked on a chat, they can't advise you, so you are on your own or have to pay a lot of money to get advice. From the readings, I got sold the extra deluxe gold package (or something fancy), and what I got wasn't what I needed. Terrible! They have hidden fees everywhere and their customer service is basically non existent. **************** reps are off shore and dont have a clue about your question. Legal Zoom doesnt care though as they already have my money. And they are always trying to sell me more services that they initially told me were included in my purchase! The only person that spoke english was the person that sold me the membership and he kept adding on charges!! Stay away from this company!!!

I paid $948.00 in a lump sum payment in March of 2023 for the following 12-months of tax assistance/tax filing. There was no work done at all between March and December 2023. We had only begun to work on Tax Year 2023 in January and February of 2024. I finished all of my requirements to get the return done (questionnaires, documents and evidence uploading, etc). I wanted to start a LLC, I paid $767 for getting the corporation started and getting the **** The LegalZoom website list their packages the most expensive at $299 plus some other fees. The **** I spoke with said specifically that only the After that I was charged with 2 subscriptions that I didn't need. I am being charged $99/month for what will be a cumulative $1118 for tax services I never signed up for. I was told even if I cancel Im obligated to pay the full $1118, they will not provide a refund and plan to continue charging me for a service I cannot use nor need. My LLC was incorporated just fine however they are extremely deceptive with their recurring charges. I didn't check my credit card bill for a few months and noticed a $50 LegalZoom monthly service charge for some legal plan I didn't even know I signed up for - it took me 6 months before I noticed it (my bad) - I was able to cancel that charge going forward (no refund for a service I didn't use or even realize I signed up for) - a big waste of money for 6 months.
