I would not recommend this company to anyone. I have wasted so much time trying to resolve a simple matter. Basically my application for an LLC was delayed because they needed my license before filing. I was unable to upload my pdf to their website so I spoke with a rep who after 30 mins on the call said they had received my license via email and the matter was resolved. 5 days later I check back and it still appears there is a hold up with processing my order. Used Legal Zoom to create an LLC. In ** they require a registered agent which LZ did for $350. After almost a year I dissolved my company and canceled the dozen or so subscriptions LZ had created for me. A. month later, LZ charged my credit card another $350 for the registered agent fee. They said I hadn't dissolved my company through the state website. I then did so - that day and they issued a conditional refund. Fast forward 3 weeks and no actual refund. SCAM - They take your money even if they cannot provide service!Order is easy, but there's a catch.We tried to file our DBA through LZ. We purchased their service, and everything was great until they sent us a notice. They said they couldn't complete our order due to our county's restriction. My subscription for 'registered agent' was renewed for another year even though I notified LegalZoom that I am no longer using this service. On March 11, 2024 I notified LegalZoom of my decision to discontinue the registered agent service with them, I had my registered agent changed officially on the same date of notice March 11, 2024 (verifiable). I reached out to Legal Zoom to cancel a subscription for registered agent for my LLC. I didn't know I even had a subscription at first. They told me I had to have another registered agent in place before they would cancel my subscription. I found a new registered agent for a fraction of the cost. Only $49 versus the $299 that Legal Zoom is charging. I then provided the documentation requested and asked for a refund for the year long service. Charged $259 for business services automatic renewal. They said they gave notice but I never received the email which in illegal in my state. When I chatted with support, they refused to refund me even though I never use the service and thought it was a one time charge. They are a scam that preys on small businesses.

We worked with Legal Zoom to form our LLC, which was relatively straightforward and went well. Once it came **************, it has been a bit of a nightmare for us. We have gone round and round with them to get the business and personal taxes done, with several phone calls and a month later, the business tax portion was completed. No notice auto-renewal, Poor customer service I noticed a charge for $199 from LZ on my Amex card. No bill or communication from LZ at all. I called there this morning, got passed around to 3 different people, then got disconnected. I called again and was "informed" that I was renewing my subscription, and the best they could do would be to cancel my subscription NEXT YEAR! Worst nightmare for a foreigner. I dont even know where to start, its been a h*** of 4 months for me and every month they surprise me with a new problem that i need to figure out on my own and pay for!!!!! I have sent alot of emails and their customer service is the pure definition of weak. I dont know where I should complain because I need a higher authority to get me my money back please.
