To say this company is incompetent and deceitful would be giving them too much credit. They charged me for a *** which they said was completed, yet I got a call from the county saying it was never published in the paper and therefore not completed and I've got no business *** and that I need to start all over. Terrible experience thus far. Ive used ZenBusiness twice now to start LLCs and stupidly decided to try LegalZoom this time. Theyve taken 4x the time to set it up thus far and still have no results from them. I tried to contact customer service about how long it was taking and they just told me to be patient. I have paid almost a $1000 now, yet Legalszoom has not been able to fix a small issue with the name of my LLC. Everytime I use the chat customer service (There is no other way listed), all I hear is an assurance that everything will be fixed in 1-3 business days. Seems like this was a good company, but its now just a scam (barely a 1/10th of a star)

I just had the worst experience with them. They have zero customer care... After only using the service once 6 months ago, they rejected my request of cancelling the auto-renewal because I didn't file within 30 days in advance, which was NOT clearly specified when I signed up to it. All attendees showed zero interest in providing a solution and simply ignored the fact that the service has not being used for awhile. DO NOT USE Legalzoom at all. If you need the most basic of stuff then yes, but anything worth anything then definitely do NOT use them. I applied for my LLC for my buisness on July 19th. 2 weeks go by and still "submitted to the state" . I call multiple times and ALWAYS hear from someone different who has no clue whats going on. This is an awful company. DO NOT spend your money here. I ordered a DBA and Business License Package and it is the worst purchase I have made all year. I purchased their services on 5/30/23. I still don't have my DBA as of 8/31/23 I needed to make a very simple change by adding a second DBA name to my application. They told me I was going to have to purchase a second DBA, I told them that wasn't going to happen so I called again and spoke with someone else who said it was only $8. My experience with them has been nothing short of a nightmare. I initiated a straightforward amendment on June 1, 2023, to modify the ownership percentage and registered agent of my company. To give you an idea how shady this company is they sent me an email receipt showing my total charge. Only to learn 10 days later be charged several more times for hidden subscriptions. After calling I find out that LegalZoom purposely sent my email receipt long enough so that the fine print would be cut off where legal zoom claims I agree to two additional services. Zero stars!! I filed for my llc through legal zoom and the first red flag shouldve been all of the extra fees that were unnecessary. The second shouldve been the $250 subscription that you have no way of cancelling. Now Im out $400 had to get a new card and will possibly have my credit affected because they are scamming everyone. Do not use legal zoom!
