If I could leave a 0 star review I would. They are absolutely horrible and do not follow through with anything. I paid to have an S-Corp set up and they never completed the paper work. I also found out recently that they never filed the paperwork with the state for me to have access to my own company so now I am having to jump through hoops and pay absurd penalties for their mistakes. Find a local accountant that can help you and go through them, save yourself the time, headache, and money.

Do not hire this company. It is a scam. They sent me an email saying they were my registered agent. I literally have the email, and they would take care of everything. Then I called in to understand better if there was anything I needed to do, and the attendant said " no". You are all good. Two months later, I called the ********** of ****** and they said there was a $400 late fee for not having filled out the annual report. LEGAL ZOOM ARE HORRIBLE AND VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. THEY PLAY MIND AND EMAIL GAMES IMAGINE HOW MANY CUSTOMERS THEYVE DONE THIS TO WITH THE AMOUNT OF MONEY INVOLVED ITS LIKE A BUT SCAM. THAT LEGAL TEAM IS A COMPLETE JOKE. $322.00 for absolutely nothing...every response via email just resulted in delays ..pushing it past the 60 day money back guarantee ...Do not use this company you can do everything they claim to do on the state website in a matter of hours . This company should be held accountable for all the money they steal from hard working citizens and should have to reimburse every dime. Again do not use these crooks they will not help you start your business in any way shape or fashion.

Extremely unprofessional practices. So far they LOST my non profit filing had to resend its still delayed with no explanation and the only person in the entire company that can help is a mid grade customer service manager with no contact information. Buyer beware this company follows predatory practices

I am having the same experience as **************** (6/7/23 review). The registered agent $249/year charge is not clear when you sign up. And now when I try to see the "purchase" the page says "error." I've brought it up with them several times. I've been trying to get it changed with my state's department (paid more fees and filed myself), but of course that takes forever so I am stuck with the charge. I wouldn't call LegalZoom a service. I should've done it all myself and saved the extra headache and money.

As so many of these reviews state, I have also experienced deceptive practices from LegalZoom. Please be sure to read the fine print on everything, as their customer service is not motivated to share anything about what you are agreeing to. I canceled my legal tex plan last month, because NO ONE contacted me about submitting my 1st quarter taxes, and when they finally got back to me, I already had to figure everything out myself in order not to miss the tax due date. I filed a DBA on 05/19 and was told that the processing time was 3-7 days. I then paid for overnight processing to speed things up. I checked in 2 weeks later and was told that the processing was **** business days. I reached out a week later and was told that the processing was ***** business days. I am 25 days out and still waiting.

One of those places where you go to get one thing and are upsold on ten other things, lots of seemingly useful services though.The reason they get one star because they have zero transparency and or customer service. The transparency comes into play because once you choose to add on another service such as legal or email etc it becomes impossible to find how much you are paying for each service.
