I opened an LLC in the beginning of 2023. One of my partners had just gotten married and the wrong name was associated with the Social. After following up, Legalzoom, committed to getting the issue fixed right away. After months of promises and followups, we had to go to the *** and get our own ***, and BTW, the *** said Legalzoom had NEVER submitted ************ request. Processed for an LLC, that would be free to process. State charge of $97.14. Legal Zoom charged another $249 claiming to be the registered agent of my company. I ensured when finalizing purchase that it was only the $97.14 and hold a receipt for that cost. No where am I informed of the $249 charge other than my credit card statement. LegalZoom needs to be reviewed for illegal charges to their customers. As they refuse to refund the $249 charge.

****** Charging for unauthorized add-on features to my plan ******I have used Legal Zoom for several years now. While they have provided a valuable service for me they were unbeknownst to me applying a recurring charge for an entire year without my authorization. When I found this out via the email about auto-renewal I immediately called. Their first customer service person was helpful and said she wrote a report and escalated this to her manager. Don't bother. We paid for the "expedited service" to start a business which they advertise as taking **** business days. It took 22 business days and about 13 angry phone calls to get them to submit anything to my state and the process is still not done yet. Every worker in customer service is useless and you need to threaten a manager to get anything semi accomplished. I have zero faith in this company and no one should use them for anything.

My husband and I created and PAID for final ***** and testaments in 2009. I just signed into my account to review the documents and they weren't there. I've chatted with 2 different customer service reps via chat and was told any document created prior to 2016 was removed and that I would need to pay and file new documents. First of all, this is a legal document which I paid for and was never notified that it was going to be removed. Secondly, ***** don't expire, so why remove it? Worst ever...mishandled all the paperwork. Still do not have my LLC. they did an investigation and said it was my fault... my fault that the paperwork that they done was wrong.... horrible company... if you need an LLC try another company

Aweful experience. They filed my LLC with an incorrect address for my business partner twice. So much time was wasted with customer service explaining what was wrong during a roughly 2 month period. It took them 1 month to acknowledge their mistake; they said they fixed it. Made another mistake in the process. I called yet again to have that mistake fixed, and they said they wouldn't fix it again and told me fix/pay to refile it myself. ****; why did I pay Legal Zoom? Company is an absolute joke.

I placed and order to open a corporation, filled up all the documents they needed from me, the next day they send me an email for additional documents I gave every detail they needed, they told me they were unable to verify my registered agent info I gave it to them and send them a confirmation email. the next day they ask my par value I gave them after that gets ridiculous, they stop my process asked me the same questions again and again for a week which is crazy, You provide them anything and they will mess up even you do ... read more
